Hi and welcome back to silver jewelry resource. You can simply post your comment in this blog.Just introduce yourself and then post. Thanks in advance for your co-operate.
Today we are going to talk about how exactly to choose the perfect clasp?

As you already noticed, there are many different types of clasp. It can then be further subdivided to toggle, lobster claw, magnetic, spring ring, slide insert safety and etc.It is important to know which clasp will work best for you no matter what type of necklace, bracelet or even an anknlet that your are going to choose.

Let’s first look at the smallest of all clasp. The Spring Ring Clasp. This one is typically for fine link chains.I am not recommended you to wear this for a heavier weight jewelry, unless you have an oversized spring ring that is capable of supporting the chain’s weight.

Now let’s us pay some attention to the other type of clasp.A clasp that attaches with the help of a magnet.A-Magnetic-Clasp.Just as it sounds.Nowadays, this kind of clasp is one of the most popular and easiest design in jewelry industry.Hmm..lemme guest, you maybe excited to get it one once you’ve heard I say this.haha..Don’t worry, you can turn your jewelry to a magnetic clasp without having to buy the new one.

What? Is it true?? Yes.It’s true.Nowadays, many manufacturers offers an extenders that attach to either a lobster claw or a spring ring in order to convert your otherwise traditional clasp into a magnetic clasp.Sounds interesting :-) A magnetic clasp is simple. It’s effortless design is suitable for anyone whose in a hurry and does not have time to fuss with a clasp, or for anyone who has trouble with traditional clasp.

While a lobster claw is one of the more popular clasp than the spring ring clasp for use on jewelry of substance.Perhaps a lobster claw may cost a little more than a spring ring clasp, but don’t worry, from my experience, you’ll have the benefit of added peace of mind for your heavier jewelry. An important thing to know, this clasp is fairly easy to open and is a stronger variation of the spring ring clasp.:-)

Well..that’s it.Hope your enjoy this article.Have a nice day :-) Our next article is “ How to Determine Your Ring Size ”. Make sure to come back here again :-)
